This position is located in the Division of Finance, Coporate Planning and Performance Management Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in system administration and operational guidance, and implementation expertise for one of the Corporation's financial systems.

Duties
Coordinates with internal departments, subcontractors and vendors to ensure the maintenance and change orders for financial systems are conducted correctly, bringing systems into FDIC alignment and meeting business objectives.
Configures a variety of commercial, off-the-shelf information technology systems supporting corporate planning, budget, performance, project and cost management business operations.
Manages interfaces with other systems that provide data to, or use data from, systems that support those CPPM activities, such as the general ledger, payroll bridge, service billing, human resources information systems, and legacy business systems.
Operates financial systems, runs jobs, and produces reports and complex system queries to meet business objectives.
Will be charged with leading and monitoring others who are given specific project tasks.
Coordinates the management of the business processes and activities required to support the enterprise data warehouse and reporting.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience, managing, maintaining and enhancing financial and project management systems; and providing oversight to system users and developers.
