You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE within the Test and Evaluation Department, NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Duties

You will provide supervision and oversight of Department Technical Project Managers (TPM). You will recommend, develop, and support Command-level Project Management competency management, process alignment, training standards, and policy via membership in the command Project Management Competency Pyramid. You will assesses and verify project planning and execution performance meets customer cost, schedule and performance tasking requirements. You will ensures project management tools are used as appropriate to manage and report Cost, Schedule and Performance. You will ensure Department processes for Requirements Management, Project Planning, Project Management and Control, and Project Reporting process areas are fully implemented, followed and effective, when applicable.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (NT-04; GS-11/12 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing technical projects, planning, execution, and performance metrics. Coordinating with teams, ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, and performance requirements. Applying project management tools and practices to reach organizational objectives.
