You will serve as a Lead Software Product Owner in the Digital Transformation Division, Fleet Readiness Department, of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).
Duties
You will serve as the software applications product owner responsible for the overall management, administration, design and development of all assigned software system applications.
You will be responsible for the product vision, technology roadmap, product backlog and serve as the final arbiter of requirements questions, delivering software on time, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet requirements.
You will lead and harmonize processes to define, identify, collect, and track appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or services.
You will find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed.
You will create, maintain and adjust technology roadmaps for assigned Product Line(s).
You will collaborate with Division technical leadership to establish, implement and continuously improve processes and tools used within assigned Product Line(s)
You will assist in the development and management of project plans, schedules, procedures, progress and reporting methods for assigned Product Line(s).
You will collaborate with Branch Heads and Technical Project Managers to obtain and assist in balancing resources based upon product line requirements.
You will assign work to resources based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments and capabilities.
You will give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
You will develop detailed plans, goals, and objectives for the long-range implementation and administration of the projects and developing criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of projects.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and planning software system project schedules to make recommendations that influence program practices for the timeliness and productivity of organizational goals.
