You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Executive Directorate of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.

Duties

You will provide managerial, technical, and administrative support involving the planning, development, and execution of administrative tasks essential to the organization. You will coordinate with research and support division personnel. You will be responsible for administering NRL's portion of complex scientific and research programs. You will review research proposals to validate internal and external policy and guidance. You will provide support as needed to other areas of the intramural and external science and technology programs managed within the Program Administration Staff Office.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-01/04) or pay band (NO-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience shows the ability to 1) analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) plan and organize work and; 3) communicate effectively orally and in writing.
