Duties

You will assist in the development of broad plans and objectives, which includes the development/establishment of overall criteria and long-range, detailed logistics plans You will translate broad goals and objectives for further refinement and integration into future plans using operational knowledge, sound judgment, and proven techniques. You will create, develop, establish priorities, and ensures implementation of supporting strategic and operational plans. You will identify resources required to resolve tasks; specifies overall goals and utilizes management/leadership skills to ensure culmination of assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI clearance (Drug Testing Position).
  • Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays due to unplanned operations or unique situations.
  • This position is telework eligible.
  • This position requires 10% travel.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This is a Drug Testing Designated Position (TDP). A pre-employment drug test is required, and the position is subject to random drug testing.

Qualifications

Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: Reviewing internal processes and procedures. making recommendations for improvements to promote efficiency and cost savings in immediate work area. Education

At a minimum, all CES employees in the Professional Work Category require a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Some groups in this category, however, may have a positive education requirement that cannot be replaced with experience, such as a requirement for a particular type or level of an academic degree.
