About the Position: Serves as Chief, Supply Chain Management Division, responsible for acquisition of supplies for the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) and as Accountable Officer for Class VIII warehouse located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Duties

Responsible for the acquisition of supplies; short- and long-range planning for medical supplies and surveillance training of supply ordering procedures for credit card program. Coordinate inventory management and storage of Class VIII supplies and equipment in support of distribution operations. Develops and implements the logistics portion of the training plan. Provide technical and administrative supervision, distributes and balances the workload among employees in accordance with established workflow or job specialization to assure timely accomplishment of the assigned workload.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position requires pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
• Completion of DAU training requirements for Government Purchase Cardholders (GPC) Approving Officials is required.
• This position has been designated "Mission Essential".
