You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the S-4 Installations and Logistics Department, Financial Management Branch of the MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR.

Duties
You will perform duties as supervisory of the managerial accounting office, exercising the following responsibilities: plans, schedules, assigns and direct the work of division staff.
You will provide technical and administrative oversight, advice, and instruction; you will interview candidates and recommend hiring, and promotions.
You will have a comprehensive, detailed knowledge and understanding of budgetary policies, precedents, procedures, procedures, and regulations.
You will be responsible for management, development, and establishment of financial management programs.
You will prepare and review program documentation for the Command's Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Future Year Development Plan, and budget submissions for S-4 programs.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing effective multi-year budget requirements, mid-year reviews, and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions; managing work assignments of others; and resolving problems in obligations, expenses, and liquidations of funds.
