Duties

Provide sound advice on subject such as recruiting, retention, and incentives management. Responsible for the development and execution of recruiting plans. Responsible for gathering, identifying and analyzing recruiting program issues ensuring that programs function effectively and effectively. Make recommendations to correct deficient program issues. Participate in recruiting activities in pre-selected areas in an effort to increase public awareness of the ROTC program.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed Basic background investigation.
  • May be required to serve as Unit Prevention Leader (UPL), if selected to perform these duties, Command will ensure incumbent completes and maintains training certification.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) may be required up to 30% of the time.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical.
  • Must maintain a valid state drivers license.
  • May be required to complete a one year probationary period.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you may qualify if your education meets the definitions below:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree (TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED).
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree LL.M., if related to the position being filled (TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED).

Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
