About the position: This position will be assigned to the Arts and Crafts Program here at Moody AFB. Guaranteed 20 hours, but may work up to 40 hours per week. Must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires continuous standing, walking, and stooping. Must be able to work irregular tour of duty to include nights, weekends, and holidays..
Duties
Assists assigned personnel in all areas of the arts and crafts program to include operating the cash register. Operating a variety of equipment such as, engravers, framing equipment, and wood working power tools. Duties also include but are not limited to: assisting customers in placing orders, creating and producing plaques, awards, and custom products in accordance with customer specifications using computer software graphics. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
- Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds assisted.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience with framing, engraving, and wood working equipment and machines. Have working knowledge in computer graphic software and programs (Corel Draw, Photo Shop, Paint, etc.) Must be able to figure basic math and measurements.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position Does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
