About the Position: This position will serve as a CONCEPT TO CAPABILITY INTEGRATION SPECIALIST with the Capabilities Development Integration Directorate (CDID), Army Futures Command (AFC) located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
This position is covered by a Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Project.
This position covered by this vacancy announcement is a part of STRL Demo Pay Band III Category I.
Duties
Manage DOTMLPF-P (doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership, education, personnel, facilities and policy) domain integration on all current and future air defense capabilities.
Serves as subject matter expert for concept to capability integration, which includes depth of knowledge of future force
requirements, operating concepts, operational environment, and approved study plans.
Organize, schedule, and host meetings, briefings, and symposium when the subject is in the Air Defense area of responsibility.
Regularly engages Air Defense Senior leaders on DOTMLPF-P friction points and responsible for presenting briefings, study findings and recommendations
Serve as the SME in the total realm of current Air Defense Artillery major subsystems commonly used in Air and Missile Defense.
Requirements

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 30% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes the following: 1. Participating in Air Defense Artillery (ADA) doctrine, organizations, functions, systems and equipment.; 2. Analyzing data related to combat development containing ADA systems; 3. Participating ADA test and evaluation processes; and 4. Organizing ADA projects, briefings and implementation of systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE 02/GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
