This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the modified DoD Direct Hire Authority. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

You will assist with monitoring budget plans and execution, analyzing data, evaluating and interpreting findings. You will provide updates and financial reports to management. You will assist in providing input regarding administrative and financial policies and recommend appropriate strategies to achieve department goals. You will provide variance analysis, prepare briefs, and communicate back to management effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

• Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

DA-02: Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band (DA-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the ability to: 1) Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Plan and organize work; and 3) Communicate effectively orally and in writing. DA-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level or pay band (DA-02) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing Microsoft Excel to export data into reports; 2) Providing updates and financial reports to management; 3) Monitoring budget plans, analyzing data, and evaluating/interpreting findings; and 4) Communicating effectively orally and in writing. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

DA-02:
4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Your percentage of the required education plus your percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.

DA-03:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Your percentage of the required education plus your percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
