You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Funds Management Division within the Comptroller Competency of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will administer funds control function, including all incoming and outgoing funding authorizations. You will lead a team in identifying, distributing and balancing the workload and tasks among employees, and providing expertise to others within the group as needed. You will be the primary resource person in funds management and is expected to solve technical problems and carry out the work assignments that have little or no precedent. You will recommend changes in local policies and standard operating procedures to improve operations to achieve the most efficient and economical service.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Presenting financial data effectively both verbally and in writing; 2) Utilizing Navy ERP or similar financial systems; 3) Applying and advising on fiscal law policies/regulations/principles/standards; 4) Analyzing financial data to provide guidance/options based on analysis; 4) Collaborating with others (i.e., Comptroller/Customers/Department Leadership/etc.) to build relationships and work toward achievement of goals.
