You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the D824 (Commercial Accounts Division) within the D82 (Accounting Department) of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will provide supervision of division personnel including assignment and prioritization of workload, evaluation of personnel performance, personnel administration, and personnel development.
You will provide infrastructure resources including facilities, information technology, equipment, and supplies; and budget/manage the costs of these resources.
You will perform analysis, research, troubleshooting, and critical thinking to create solutions that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the division operations.
You will process division business transactions including review, approval, execution, and validation of transactions.

- This is a Financial Management Level 3 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-03) pay band or (GS-12) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Demonstrating experience in tasking, monitoring, and evaluating performance of others; 2) Utilizing contract vendor pay processes, regulations, and policies; 3) Collaborating across organizational lines to solve problems, innovate, and improve operations and processes; 4) Processing, reviewing, and analyzing purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and payment files; and 5) Demonstrating experience in analysis of financial system functionality for purposes of evaluating, testing, and implementing system functionality into operations and processes.
