This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Duties
Serve as Action Officer and Point of Contact for coordinating and completing staff actions and preparing briefings.
Assess security considerations of material and information prior to dissemination.
Write and brief strategic concepts and plans.
Lead and participate in Teams and functional working groups to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiencies.
Responsible for directing and organizing staff actions and taskings.
Conduct detailed research, analysis and review in preparing staff actions and coordinating support for current operations, contingencies and crisis actions.
Develop or directs the development of new or modified operating procedures and or policies.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation may be conducted.
- This position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
- Position requires Temporary Duty or Business Travel 25% of the time.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties: 1) developing solutions and/or action plans to ensure program or mission accomplishments; 2) reviewing security levels of material or information prior to dissemination to the appropriate personnel; and 3) completing multiple projects or program goals within established guidelines.
