About the Position: Position is for a Program Analyst, GS-0343-14 for the U.S. Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Office of Executive Director in located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Duties
Serves as Senior Program Analyst in the Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground Strategic Initiatives Group, responsible for planning, writing reports, and conducting preparedness activities.
Communicates processes that satisfies the long term strategic goals and objectives of the ACC-APG to mission partners.
Provides advice and guidance to the Executive Director/Deputy, industry officials, and others on program development and evaluation matters.
Conducts meetings to resolve program scheduling, strategic direction, and other issues with program offices.
Provides administrative advice regarding specialized procedures and terminology.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Foundational Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
- Must file financial statement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Developing policies, plans, schedules, and priorities for program requirements; AND 2) Applying knowledge of special projects as well as planning and evaluating objectives of acquisition support programs; AND 3) Analyzing proposed policies to determine impact on the organizational structure. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
