About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Management Analyst in the US Army Aviation and Missile Command, AMCOM, with responsibility for analyzing and interpreting regulatory guidance and policies to evaluate and identify organization requirements, etc.
Duties
Perform personnel management studies and surveys which are highly complex in nature, comprehensive in scope and impact across organizational lines.
Typical studies involve organizations, functions, or work processes that interrelate extensively with others.
Assure adequacy and completeness of all applicable Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) input and completeness of documentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable policies on organization, and associated personnel management concepts and provides guidance to organization officials on such matters.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance during the duration of employment.
- Occasional travel may be expected up to 10% of the time for this position.

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: (1) analyzing and interpreting regulatory guidance and policies to evaluate and identify organization personnel/manpower requirements; (2) developing or modifying work methodologies, personnel management processes, guidelines, instructions and procedures; (3) analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of the organization's operational manpower efficiencies and capabilities, and (4) preparing reports on findings and recommending improvements, solutions and strategies.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
