About the Position: This is a permanent Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist with US Army Central G4 HQ Section located at Shaw AFB, SC.

Duties

Serves as a first-line supervisor, responsible for supervising a staff of military, civilian, and contractors by providing direction, guidance, and assignments. Provides organizational and sustainment program input to the plans process. Serves as the logistics subject matter expert on a Command-level planning team responsible for the analysis, development, and review of unique, compartmentalized operational plans. Participates in all phases of the Military Decision-Making Process and plan development where required.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Special Sensitive/SCI clearance required.
  • Pre-employment and random thereafter drug testing required.
  • Temporary duty travel (TDY) required up to 50% of the time.
  • One-year employee probationary period may be required if not already completed IAW 5 CFR criteria.
  • One-year supervisory probationary period may be required if not already completed IAC 5 CFR criteria.
  • This position requires you to obtain completion of the Army' Intermediate-Level Education/Command and General Staff Officer's Course/ Civilian Education System Advanced Course within one year of employment.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
