Qualifications
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-13 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level defined as providing customer service to internal and external customers; and/or interpreting and applying laws, policies, and procedures associated with grants management; and/or managing grants and/or cooperative agreements.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) Section 104(k).
Ability to review, develop, analyze, monitor, and interpret conflicting data to recommend policies and procedures.
Skill in written communication.
Skill in oral communication.
Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals and stakeholders.
Skill in grant management.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
