About the Position: This position services as a Program Analyst (Training, Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations - TADSS) within the National Simulation Center (NSC) Directorate, Fort Leavenworth, KS.
Duties
As a Program Analyst (TADSS), you will perform duties to include, but not limited to the following:
Conduct training requirements analysis and determination to ensure OPFOR TADSS integrate Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) simulations and simulator tools into live-synthetic battlespaces.
Identify, develop, and integrate Army and Joint Operational Environment (OE) and OPFOR requirements and capabilities within the LVC simulations and stimulations community.
Conduct capability development in support of rapid prototyping and components selection for LVC collective TADSS.
Develop and assess integration of new modeling and simulation training requirements, capabilities or changes to existing requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) required approximately 30% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) performing a broad range of complex analytical assignments and studies 2) planning and assessing capability development/implementation and 3) general experience with the Combat Training Centers or Opposing Force (OPFOR). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
