THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This position is for a Financial Management Analyst D2515P01 located at the 116h CPTF on Robins AFB, Georgia.
This is a full-time, Excepted Permanent, dual status position which requires Georgia Air National Guard Membership.
Area of Consideration: Open to current onboard Federal Employees/Technicians within the 116th CPFT.
Duties
As a Financial Management Analyst, GS-0501-07,you will:
Perform developmental assignments. Perform developmental assignments of moderate difficulty where work procedures are established and a number of specific guidelines exist. Work assignments consisting of a series of specific and related tasks have been selected to orient the employee in the practical application of basic occupational principles, concepts, and techniques. Assignments are combined with training to further develop analytical skills and techniques in the occupation. Assistance in solving problems is available from the supervisor or a higher-graded employee.
Perform recurring assignments. Independently perform recurring assignments of limited, but gradually increasing, difficulty and complexity. The incumbent is responsible for locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines and procedures for application, and making minor deviations to adapt the guidelines to specific cases. Analyze routine problems that are encountered and resolves them. Refer deviations, problems, and unfamiliar situations to the supervisor for assistance.
Participate in special initiatives, studies, and projects. Work with other specialists in planning and conducting special initiatives, studies, and projects. Assist in preparing reports and briefings outlining study findings and recommendations.
Prepare written correspondence and other documentation. Draft or prepare a variety of documents to include newsletter items, responses to routine inquiries, reports, letters, and other related documents.
Perform other duties as assigned.

- May be required to travel by car, in military and/or commercial aircraft, and by other means of transportation as appropriate to perform temporary duty assignments.
- This is a National Guard dual status technician position which requires military membership.
- This is a Financial Management Level Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d.
- Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.
Qualifications
Military Grade - TSgt.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. A non-award SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least 12 months experience, education, or training validating financial data, analyzing unusual trends for corrective action. maintaining and researching records, and preparing reports. Experience in correcting coding or other errors that result in computer generated rejects.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Master's or equivalent graduate degreeor2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.B. or J.D., if related
Undergraduate Education: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets the GS-5 level requirements for many positions covered by this standard. Others have individual occupational requirements that specify that applicants must, in general, (1) have specific course work that meets the requirements for a major in a particular field(s), or (2) have at least 24 semester hours of course work in the field(s) identified. Course work in fields closely related to those specified may be accepted if it clearly provides applicants with the background of knowledge and skills necessary for successful job performance. One year of full-time undergraduate study is defined as 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours.

Graduate Education: Education at the graduate level in an accredited college or university in the amounts shown in the table meets the requirements for positions at GS-7 through GS-11. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.
