Duties

Perform assigned budget execution tasks to meet the news of the organization at the lowest operation level. Responsible for supporting the Center's strategic goals, objectives and deadlines set by higher management and outlined in the organization's financial plan. Compare obligations and expenditures and identifies conditions of over or under obligation of funds as required by higher headquarters. Monitor of year-end closing to ensure proper and full use of funding. Attend briefings/meetings, and presents, explains, and defends financial management actions at meetings and conferences with higher-level review officials.

Requirements

• Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination. A candidate selected to this position will be required to sign a statement consenting to annual seasonal influenza vaccination.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes performing audit analysis/evaluation of the planning, programming, budgeting and execution of financial programs; interpreting financial/budgeting policies and regulations; utilizing automated financial management systems to analyze and reconcile financial data and obligations.
