You will serve as in Information Technology Specialist (ENTARCH) at the GG-13 grade level responsible for ensuring the secure and effective operation of all IT Service Management application(s), systems, and software within Hopper Global Communication Center (HGCC).
Duties
You will be responsible for enhancing the organization’s IT service management processes.
You will work to improve incident management, change management, problem management, and other IT service-related processes which includes: understanding workflows, business rules, scripting, and integrations.
You will develop and maintain business, systems, and information processes to support enterprise mission needs.
You will perform regular maintenance tasks, such as applying patches, managing upgrades, monitoring system performance, and applying System Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) to ensure the system adheres to cybersecurity policies.
You will provide user support by addressing issues, answering queries, and resolving problems related to IT Service Management applications and processes.
You will collaborate with teams (DBA, UNIX/Linux, Windows, Cloud, and Web Support) to share/obtain information on routine and non-routine maintenance and troubleshooting of IT Service Management application implementation(s) and their host servers.
You will be responsible for administration support for an enterprise implementation of best practices from the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
You will support all key process areas of ITIL including service level management, IT service continuity management, change management, configuration management, knowledge management, incident management, problem management, and service management.

- This position may require a Polygraph Examination.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 651 (Enterprise Architect).

In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
Developing information technology (IT) rules and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures.
Maintaining application security by managing user access, roles, and permissions using established guidelines.
Serving as a lead IT specialist responsible for hardening managed server/cloud applications against cybersecurity threats.
Utilizing technical knowledge related to server configuration, customization, and administration to maintain cybersecurity compliance for all assigned assets.
