Duties
Serve as the Staff director, Diversity and Inclusion Division, supervising staff in this division.
Oversee the Management Directorate 715 Program (MD715), Special Emphasis Program (SEP) and other special programs related to creating and sustaining a diverse workforce and inclusive environment.
Develop, write, and edit agency level diversity and inclusion policies, procedures, and reports that are wide in scope and impact.
Develop and implement a Model Agency EEO Program and Rehabilitation Act Programs for serviced agency activities, in compliance with directives and standards issued by the EEOC.
Develop Diversity training courses with Agency-wide applicability.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Equal Employment Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut- off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Planning, organizing, directing, staffing, carrying out, and evaluating equal employment opportunity programs using managerial and technical knowledge and skills.
Conducting organizational reviews, workforce analysis and participating in personnel management evaluations and similar reviews to identify systemic equal employment problems.
Providing consulting services to managers, at all levels, to assist in identifying and resolving systemic issues or barriers to equal employment opportunity.
Experience with Special Emphasis Programs (i.e., Disabilities Program, Black Employment Program, Hispanic Employment Program, Federal Women's Program, Asian Pacific Program Manager, and Native American Program)
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
