You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the TECHNICAL DIVISION (SP20) / REENTRY SYSTEMS BRANCH (SP28) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
Duties
You will identify complex cyber security issues and risks and assist with developing policies, strategies, and guidance to address future Cyber Security challenges.
You will apply practical understanding of (and the relationship of) numerous Information Technology (IT) areas: Knowledge Management, Information Assurance, Information Technology Acquisition, Information Management, and spectrum Management.
You will communicate thoroughly both orally and in written text on cyber regulation such as the Navy and DOD Cyber Security policies including Department of Defense Instruction and the Federal Information Processing Standards Publication.
You will perform management of program protection, security, classification guidance management, Cyber Security, information technology, and facilities management.
You will serve as a technical expert throughout the Reentry division and be responsible for assisting and guiding the implementation and integration of new programs or requirements and developing new policy, guidance, standards, and methods.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area IS Security Manager, level Advanced within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: formulating, evaluating, and developing Cyber Security information assurance documentation and recommend improvements to Cyber Security policies and procedures.
