This position is located in Pacific West Region at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, in the Facilities Management Division.

Duties
Employee must have knowledge of trail construction and maintenance techniques and must be able to recognize existing and future maintenance problems.
Can teach and demonstrate trail maintenance and construction methods and techniques to lower graded park staff and volunteers.
Performs and leads carpentry and masonry work at a high level of competency, often taking on the most complicated phases of project work assigned to the crew.
Performs and leads rigging operations at a high level of competency, often taking on the most complicated phases of project work assigned to the crew.
Transports tools, materials, employees, vehicles, and equipment with variety of vehicles weighing under 26,000 GVW to job sites.
Qualifications
Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT)
Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprints reading)
Ability To Lead Or Supervise SCREEN OUT
Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc
