You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Code GT43200 Integrated Products Division of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
Duties
You will prepare and present briefings on program status and issues.
You will interface and communicate regularly with funding sponsors, military officials, and maintain continuous liaison to coordinate decision making and guidance relative to assigned training programs and related logistics support.
You will visit operational training support installations, and private industry to provide technical direction, advice and assistance as required.
You will identify requirements that are at risk, or cannot be attained, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
You will participate in the development and management of budgetary requirements for assigned training system programs.
You will be responsible for developing the Statement of Work, Contract Data Requirements Lists, Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Government Cost Estimates (GCE), and other contractual or program related documentation.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (DS-04=GS 11/12) or equivalent grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following duties: (1) Planning and managing support equipment requirements based on site specific mission requirements for training systems; 2) Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, and manpower management to meet the logistics needs of the customer/sponsor; 3) Experience identifying potential sustainment service delays or problems to training systems and identifying recommended corrective actions; and 4) Collaborating internally and externally, and proposing recommendations to leadership concerning program status, direction, challenges, and opportunities.
