You will serve as the Training Systems Logistics Integration Manager, Branch Head and Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) in the Integration Management Division as part of the Sustainment Department of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
Duties
You will be responsible for all training system logistics acquisition and sustainment planning and execution efforts.
You will be responsible for personnel, skills, knowledge, facilities, equipment, and logistics processes to develop, plan, and integrate acquisition and operational support considerations for new or modified training systems.
You will be responsible for the immediate supervision of logistics managers, who provide overall acquisition and sustainment management and support services.
You will be responsible for planning and assigning work, mentoring, administering, directing, and evaluating performance of subordinates.

- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13/14) or pay band (NM-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Serving as a Subject Matter Expert on matters pertaining to engineering technical reviews, including the assessment of training system designs against plans, processes, and key knowledge points; 2) Planning, directing, administering, and controlling a specialized training system integrated support program; 3) Developing, planning, and integrating acquisition and operational support considerations for new and modified training system designs.
