You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the TECHNICAL DATA BRANCH of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
***This position has a control point of GS-14 Step 10. If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $ $122,198 - $158,860.
Duties
You will serve as the subject matter expert, technical advisor, and advocate for all acquisition and life cycle sustainment issues in support of logistics product data matters.
You will represent the team in meetings with other team leaders, program officials, and customers on issues related to logistics product data objectives and work products.
You will conduct orientation and planning conferences with team members and contractors to ensure comprehension of technical data and data management support requirements, directives, instructions, policy, and procedures.
You will establish and successfully execute program support within specific personnel, financial and time constraints.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the
position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Preparing and implementing integrated logistics support (ILS) plans for weapon/target acquisition and in-service systems/equipment; 2) Preparing and managing budgets for cognizant programs; 3) Resolving conflicts among schedules, funding and resources; and 4) Establishing logistics support criteria for system specifications, solicitation packages, contracts, and life-cycle cost estimates.
