This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA J9(HAC)/OPERATIONS SUPPORT OFFICE.

Duties

Manages the services/hardware/software maintenance program within DISA HACC and centralized hardware/software acquisition and maintenance contracts. Ensures comprehensive logistics support asset data requirements are integrated and managed within the overall DISA HACC asset data management program. Conducts or participates in related conferences, reviews, and meetings relative to software asset data management, the consolidation of software contracts, and software asset and software maintenance acquisition strategies. Manages and ensures proper resolution and coordination of necessary changes due to logistics support policy modifications and organizational transformations. Ensures cost-effective financial management and planning for all services and software/hardware assets from requirements identification through long-term maintenance or upgrade needs.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
  • The incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 Executive Branch Confidential Financial Disclosure Report.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in providing contracting methods and options to present the most effective and cost-efficient solutions for new asset acquisitions (both software and hardware) and for consolidated asset maintenance requirements and equipment warranties. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.
