This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA HC/ HOSTING AND COMPUTE CENTER (HC12).

Duties

Provides technical guidance to contractors on the technical requirements as set forth in assigned contracts. Assist, upon request, in conducting meetings with contractors. Maintains a contract file for the technical portion of the contracts. Obtains input from supported sites and accepts supplies and/or services as specified in the contracts. Monitors the contractor's efforts to ensure that the contractors are meeting the technical requirements and intent of the contracts in accordance with the required delivery schedules. Notifies the contractor in writing of deficiencies observed in the contractor's performance.

Qualifications

This announcement will be used to fill positions with an entry grade of GG-12, with a target grade of GG-13. The minimum salary for grade GG-12 is $82,830.00, the maximum salary is $122,459.00. The minimum salary for grade GG-13 is $98,496, the maximum salary is $145,617.00. In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as experience assisting with developing the required financial documents necessary to support budget formulation and management and monitoring the progress of acquisition packages through the acquisition approval process. To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as experience providing applications and systems support to an organization to plan, design and implement new and improved information systems to meet the requirements of customer organizations and provide analysis of managed contracts to ensure pricing and provisions are in consonance with current industry standards and practices. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume.
