You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC) of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will evaluate programs, functions, and/or organizations, for Marine Corps Information Operations Center (MCIOC).
You will prepare reports which point out effective management practices and discuss problem areas where a need for improvement is indicated.
You will evaluate and analyze multi-functional programs, functions, and organizations.
You will perform a wide range of complex tasks to develop, analyze, evaluate, advise on, or enhance the effectiveness of organizational structures and procedures .
You will collect, review, interpret, evaluate and integrate information from multiple sources in assessing the relevance and significance of developments in assigned area.
You will serve as the Contracts Manager within the Program Management Section and report to the MCIOC Chief of Staff.
You will serve as Subject Matter Expert in preparation of pre-award acquisition documentation (e.g. Performance Work Statements,
Independent Government Cost Estimates, Market Research Analysis, Limited or Sole Source Justification)
You will conduct compliance reviews of complex, unusual, or unprecedented contract actions, such as for research and development, or production of specialized equipment or systems that involve extensive negotiations involving cost or pricing data.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing leadership/guidance in the utilization of Federal Acquisition Management (e.g. laws, regulations, policies, practices); developing courses of action and executing management improvement plans; providing contract administration oversight and recommendations AND fund management (e.g. ensuring funds are obligated, committed, certified).
