About the Position: Serves as the Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist and Chief of the Logistics Review and Technical Assistance Office (LRTAO).

Duties

Audits authorized and directed by the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics (ODCSLOG), Army G-4. Evaluates the operational effectiveness of commands, activities, and installations in accomplishing their assigned missions. Is an expert consultant for Army in the functional areas of ammunition logistics, supply management, storage, maintenance, demilitarization, transportation, and security of Class V ammunition and materiel. Provides advice, counsel, and instruction to accomplish assigned tasks. Amends or rejects work not meeting established standards.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • One-year probationary period may be required.
  • Supervisory Probationary is required.
