Duties

You will serve as M52 Industrial Services Branch Manager. You will direct work for the manufacture, repair and refurbishment of inert non-nuclear components, special types of jigs, fixtures, tools, dies and molds necessary to accomplish repairs on specialized test equipment and handling gear. You will provide first level supervision to nonsupervisory employees in the general area of electrical/mechanical operations as outlined in various publications and local work instructions within the capabilities of the Detachment. You will be responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed and assures efficient use of resources. You will be responsible for all aspects of project execution from estimating to delivery and includes cost, schedule, and quality.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11/12) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating and modifying logistical support requirements or objectives for the manufacturing and sustainment of weapons products or services to meet logistical objectives for an ordnance program.
