You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT BRANCH (08W) of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT. Salary Range by Location: Schenectady, NY - $106,445 to $163,524 Washington Navy Yard, D.C. - $117,962 to $181,216

Duties

You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Training and Professional Development Division. You will apply expert knowledge on matters relating to talent development, engagement and retention, organizational development, leadership development, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA). You will forecast individual and organizational development needs for long-range planning and succession planning purposes. You will conduct analyses to identify and develop strategic process improvements. You will develop, establish and review regulations, polices, and operating procedures for conformity and compliance. You will identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships inside and outside the Program that support integration into talent development, engagement and retention programs. You will develop and implement strategies to generate Naval Reactors’ managerial participation and operationalization of policies and program directives as they relate to talent development, engagement, retention, succession planning, EEO and DEIA.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, BR-02 (GS-12 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing programs and procedures to detect deficiencies in operations or resources requirements.
