This SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) position is located in the G3 of the Army National Guard (ARNG) and is part of the CA JFHQ Training G3.
Duties
THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT/INDEFINITE/TEMPORARY POSITION
The primary purpose of the SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-11, is to supervise and manage one or more of the following human resource programs: Mobilization Readiness including Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP); Soldier Readiness Check (SRC)/Mobilization Deployment Readiness Exercise (MODRE); Mobilization Readiness to include liaising directly with the assigned Mobilization and Demobilization Station of a unit, the corresponding Training Support Battalion (TSB), respective Army Regional Command (1A), the respective Mobilization Brigade, and internal mobilization station tenant agencies.
Qualifications
SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-11 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Experience executing personnel programs and Human Resources Information Systems and advising supervisors and managers; Experience in personnel and manpower core competencies; Experience in applying program policies, directives, publications, and training manuals; and have at least 24 months experience with human resources programs related to federal civilian or military personnel programs.

Education
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work required.
