This SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) is located in the Military Personnel Office (MILPO) of the Army National Guard (ARNG) and has the responsibility for servicing all Army National Guard personnel and is part of the CA JFHQ MILPO.
Duties
THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION
The primary purpose of the SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-12, is to serve as a personnel supervisor and advise in one or more of the following branches: Education, Automation, Retirement, Boards, Enlisted, Officer, Health Services, Plans and Mobilization Readiness. (Admin Services, Mailroom Operations, Talent Management).
Qualifications
SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-12: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-11 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Experience serving as the primary advisor to all levels of management that apply to all military personnel management; Experience overseeing the development and administration of multiple military programs in order to maintain or increase overall personnel readiness; Experience managing Federal and State compliance, as well as all mailroom logistics and daily administrative operations in support of over 16k employees and logistics operations; Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed; Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
