You will serve as a MCCS COORDINATOR in the MARINE CORPS COMMUNITY SERVICE DEPARTMENT of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Duties
You will maintain liaison with MCCS staff and commanders and their assigned action officers to ensure necessary support is coordinated in areas.
You will evaluate MCCS needs on a continuing basis to determine interest and impact programs.
You will coordinate MCCS support for all aspects of commanders' unit functions such as pre=deployment briefs, field meets, family days, and off site activities.
You will make periodic and frequent inspections of all assigned operations and outlets to identify areas of deficiency, makes recommendations to correct deficiencies, and follow up to ensure action has been taken.
You will act as Responsible Officer for assigned consolidated memoranda of receipt.
Requirements

- Occasionally required to work in the evenings and on weekends. Work hours normally do not exceed 40 hours per week.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing support to assigned commanders through day-to-day liaison regarding all aspects of Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) programs and services (i.e. exchanges, Marine Marts, Military Clothing Stores, barber shops, clubs, snack bars, recreational and fitness facilities, Marine and Family Programs, and indirect contractors).

Education
The following education can be substituted for specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related
OR
A Combination of education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade levels specified. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level.
