About the Position: The Chemical Biological Center (CBC) is the nation's principal research and development resource for non-medical chemical and biological defense. Duties

Serve as an action officer for coordinating and responding to all tasks, actions, issues involving/impacting manpower/force structure. Defend civilian and military resources by analyzing, maintaining, and providing data and responses to actions pertaining to the Manpower Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and Program Budget Guidance (PBG). Represent manpower resources for Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA), utilization, and reporting requirements when responding to taskers and actions. Develop, coordinate, and submit the Manpower POM and TDA to HHQ through RMONline. Maintain accurate and up-to-date manpower documentation and reports for use by all levels of staff and management. Prepare and submit the Monthly Manpower Analysis Report to CCDC and provide Manpower TDA information for the quarterly ASIP to management. Serve as a Subject matter expert in all areas of Manpower Management and Force Development.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Three-year trial/probationary period may be required
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
  • This position is eligible for Regular and Recurring Telework as determined by the agency policy.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower pay band level position in the federal service (DE-02 or GS-05 to GS-11 level). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
