Duties

You will serve as Army Community Service (ACS) Multi-Functional Specialist at the installation level assisting Commanders with assessing, tailoring and prioritizing ACS service delivery in support of local military and family needs. You will provide services to assist service members in fulfilling their responsibility to prepare their families for their mission-related absences and to maximize Soldier, Retiree, Family, Survivor and Civilian adaptability and readiness. You will implement and manage installation ACS services, establishing goals, objectives and procedures in accordance with applicable State, DoD, DA and other federal guidance, regulations and laws. You will develop referral policies and procedures between the ACS, installation and community agencies and prepare memorandums of understanding to formalize agreements and roles. You will develop and implement marketing and public relations campaigns to ensure target populations are informed of services and activities.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
