About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Develop the assigned portions of the annual Budget Estimate Submission including revenue and expense by Army Management Structure Code, object class, and cost center. Analyze funding documents for correctness prior to reviewing/approving the documents. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze and portray a variety of budgetary data. Perform proper actions in the occurrence of daily duties to pass audit readiness requirements for incoming and outgoing MIPRs, incoming checks, and incoming GFEBS/LCMC funding.

• This position requires the incumbent to obtain a Data Analytics Certification Level 1 within 12 months of being appointed to the position.
• This position is a Financial Management Certification Level 1 position. Incumbent is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program
• This position has a business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
