About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half-way between Atlanta, Georgia and Birmingham, Alabama just off interstate 20. The Depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with Approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Detailed knowledge and skills in applying budgetary policies and regulations. Direct the development of basis of cost and negotiations on Inter-Service Support Agreements. Conduct the full range of supervisory and personnel performance management duties. Interpret policies, directives and regulations and provides sound guidance to operating officials. Analyze budgetary and actual data to actual/forecasted workload to validate budgetary requirements for both current and historical purposes.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of?up to 25% of the time.
  • The incumbent is required to complete a Financial Disclosure Statement OGE-450 upon entering the position and annually.
  • This position has a data analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for data analytics level 2 certification within 24 months of being placed on the position.
  • This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
