You will serve as a JOINT EXERCISE OPERATIONS PLANNER within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will control the planning and execution of the USINDOPACOM joint exercise program.
You will provide expert advice and support to exercise action officers and Service component planners.
You will provide supervisory oversight and direction to accomplish all daily administrative functions required to successfully execute the day-to-day operations of the division.
You will act as lead adjudicator across combatant commands, and Service components with schedules, funding, and resources to ensure forces execute USINDOPACOM, component level and national level exercises
You will assist the division chief in exercises with the J72, who handles the JTF certification and training assessment portion of the JTP, and J708 with implementation of the Pacific Multi-domain Training and Experimentation Capability (PMTEC).

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Managing the planning and execution and joint exercises across multiple commands and service components to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
2) Leading teams through complex exercises, managing resources, and providing expert advice to senior leadership on program outcomes and improvements.
3) Coordinating with international and interagency partners to enhance collaborative efforts and ensure the successful completion of multinational exercises.
4) Overseeing the development and evaluation of subordinate staff ensuring all personnel meet performance standards and training requirements.
5) Balancing competing priorities, limited funding, and manpower to effectively manager exercise programs and ensure operational readiness.
