This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, Policy & Analytics Branch, of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of depositor and consumer protection topics such as fair lending, unfair and deceptive acts and practices (UDAP), community development and financial inclusion.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-12: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 11 grade level or above in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience writing computer code to conduct data analysis using data analysis software packages (e.g., Python, R, SAS, STATA, or similar package); and providing analysis results.
CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 12 grade level or above in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience writing computer code to conduct data analysis using data analysis software packages (e.g., Python, R, SAS, STATA, similar package); and writing reports presenting analysis results.
