About the Position: Works under the general supervision of the Deputy Director, U.S. Army Holistic Health, and Fitness Academy (USAH2FA). The work is self-initiated and performed independently in accordance with established objectives, policies, and principles in support of the overall team effort. Relies on experience in training management and exercises judgment in allocating and managing resources.
Duties
Manages USAH2FA training programs in the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) in accordance with TRADOC’s Systems Approach to Training.
Utilizes the Training Resources Arbitration Panel (TRAP) to manage and implement budget and execute year training program adjustments to those programs developed during the Structure and Manning Decision Review (SMDR) process.
Communicates, both orally and in writing sufficiently to prepare correspondence, briefings, command training regulations, position papers, information papers and staff reports on training and education matters.
Manages the implementation of the Army Program for Individual Training (ARPRINT) for the execution year for USAH2FA courses.
Coordinates training between all schools authorized to execute USAH2FA curriculums to ensure training consistency across all components.
Maintains situational awareness of TRADOC institutional training requirements and initiates updates to USAH2FA policies and procedures based on changes to those requirements.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluating curriculum to develop course management plans and student assessments; reviewing internal and external course assessments and reports; and implementing curriculum changes as policies and guidance are updated.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
Education
