You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (NETWORK) in the IT INFRASTRUCTURE & OPERATIONS DIVISION of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will serve as the Branch Supervisor and Program Manager for the Network Engineering and Support Branch.
You will direct, plan and manage a variety of different occupational specialties to include specialized areas of support for desktops, laptops, zero/thin clients, printers and server datacenters.
You will implement and coordinate network operations across separate and non-contiguous sites including: Bremerton, Bangor, Everett, San Diego, and Yokosuka, Japan.
You will assign regular and special work load/projects to subordinate employees ensuring requirements and operating guidelines are understood.
You will determine whether contract performed work meets standards of adequacy necessary for authorization of payment providing recommendation to the Contracting Officer's Representative.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Network Operations Specialist, level 411 the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing and directing network operations and desktop support; leading network projects; and coordinating and resolving enterprise network and desktop issues.
