You will serve as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (PLCYPLN) in the Common IT Services division of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.
Duties
You will analyze information security violations to determine preventative and corrective measures.
You will define an information technology (IT) system project action plans and objectives to achieve short-term and long-term goals.
You will oversee the development of an information technology (IT) budget to ensure all requirements are allocated.
You will assign and reassign personnel to meet changing workloads and projects.
You will present information technology (IT) study findings to senior leaders for program improvement.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 75 level Advanced within 6 months of appointment.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) analyze, manage, or perform work necessary to plan, design, develop, acquire, document, test, implement, integrate, maintain, or modify systems for solving problems or accomplishing work process by using IT systems such as computers, servers, routers, etc.; 2) modify IT plans and policies to respond to changes in business requirement and processes; and 3) perform work necessary to plan, develop, implement, maintain or modify systems for solving problems or accomplishing work processes. NOTE: This experience must be supported by your resume.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
