You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM COORDINATOR within NAVAL SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.
This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
You will manage the day-to-day operations of the Project Management Support Group, overseeing multiple projects and ensuring they meet performance and compliance standards.
You will supervise and direct a team, ensuring that project goals are met while managing task assignments and employee performance.
You will brief senior leadership on project status, risks, and changes ensuring that all project activities are properly documented for informed decision making.
You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to facilitate the successful execution of complex interagency projects.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Managing employees and ensuring efficient and effective completion of organizational projects.
2) Implementing project management frameworks and methodologies to improve the productivity and performance of various projects,
3) Evaluating the costs, schedule and performance of projects while ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures.
4) Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
5) Developing strategies for risk and change management, ensuring that project risks and changes are properly documented and communicated to senior leadership.
