About the Position: Serve as a senior advisor to the Deputy and Director of Operations (OD) within the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9 (ODCS, G-9) on technical and administrative matters relating to the accomplishment, coordination and disposition of a variety of substantive program staff actions and assignments. Relocation incentive MAY be authorized by IAW agency policy.

Duties

Provide recommendations on staff actions for key programs or issues relating to the Office Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9. Serve as action officer for various special programs and projects as directed. Develop and/or maintain a close association and sound working relationships to keep abreast of issues and concerns that may impact issues affecting the organization. Provide guidance in providing effective methods to task support work, resolve problems, answer questions, correct deficiencies, evaluate support to management and assure that the Director’s objectives are being met.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Temporary business travel up to 5%.
