You will serve as a Administrative Specialist/Staffing Lead in the Civilian Human Resource Office of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC.
Duties
You will monitor key metrics and collaborate with specialists and technicians to ensure efficient, consistent, and accurate workflow processes are maintained, contributing to the overall success and productivity of the team.
You will develop solutions and implement appropriate interventions to assist management with staffing, recruitment, and pay-related issues, ensuring effective and timely resolutions.
You will maintain and ensure agency-wide accuracy and consistency in implementation, providing interpretation and guidance on laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
You will serve as the lead staffing trainer, developing, conducting, and monitoring staffing training programs for HR Specialists and command management.
You will develop, monitor, and update staffing standard operating procedures and related desk guides to ensure consistency and compliance with current regulations.
You will work on special projects and comprehensive studies to analyze a range of recruitment and staffing challenges across the command, providing solutions for improvement.
You will develop solutions, advise on implementation of recommended actions, and prepare reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
You will use your mastery knowledge of recruitment, staffing, pay, and classification principles, practices, methods, and techniques to mentor junior level staff members.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying expert experience and comprehensive knowledge of HR recruitment, staffing, pay and classification principles, concepts, practices, methods and techniques as required to modify AND/OR develop recruitment and staffing program changes.
