About the Position: This position is located with the US Army Command Assessment Program, Fort Knox, KY.
Duties
Conduct analysis and development of Command Assessment Program (CAP) Assessments based on guidance.
Serve as an Action Officer for the formulation and development of primary and alternative plans, policies, and milestones to improve Command Assessment Program (CAP) Assessments programs.
Conduct analysis using military and strategic planning processes to identify requirements, capabilities, shortfalls and mitigations in the guidance, resources, personnel, and policy.
Participate in required meetings and coordinates the proctoring of all assessments to ensure the seamless flow of candidate experience and transfer of information from the assessment instrument to the data collection platform.
Respond to and providing papers, read-aheads, and decision briefs.
Utilize Military and Strategic planning processes for delivery of assessments.
Run descriptive/summary statistics on macro level data sets.
Manage a data analytics platform.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- May be required to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and/or maintain a secret security clearance.
- This position may require the incumbent to work hours which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or varying work schedules based on mission requirements.

Specialized Experience: Applicant must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes developing processes to collect, clean, organize and store assessment and selection data/information; evaluating information and issues that may affect the development, design, and/or implementation of an assessment program; developing methods to improve the effectiveness in which programs are administered; preparing information papers, planning documents, reports and/or briefings to senior leaders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
